At the intersection of human >< non-human relationships, her work situates itself in the tension of
plummeting ecosystems; grounded in a growing awareness of human-centric structures of utilization, of which perceive nature in terms of ‘value’ and
therefore ‘usefulness’, as an isolated aspect separate from humans. Systems which reduce ecosystems to assets for global economics as well as technological
growth.
Through quiet-fused dystopian undertones, she attempts to address our interrelatedness through speculative narratives grounded in research and reflections in
areas of science, technology and ecology.
Further, she looks at forms of communication > tele-communication, antennal-language, frequency, non-communication in relation to non-human others and
surveillance.
Ongoing; absorbed in weather systems/instruments and the operation of long-term ecological research.
